William Hampton, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 14, 2025, in Los Andes, Antioquia, Colombia.

William was born on December 13, 1964, to Franklin Carter and Nora Murray Hampton. He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Washington, and their six children: Delenian Morse, Petra Ellis, Brandon Hampton, Cortez Hampton, and Milano Hampton.

William had a passion for teaching and coaching, and he dedicated many years to his career as a Martial Arts Coach before retiring in 2022. He was known for his skills on the basketball court and his ability to bring out the best in his students.

Outside of work, William enjoyed spending time with his family, especially grilling for them and taking them fishing. He was a proud graduate of Lincoln Park High School, class of 1982, and the University of Illinois, class of 1987.

William leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
