William Poole, 78, of Lorain, Ohio, passed on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at metro healthcare in Cleveland. William was born on August 20, 1942, in Cleveland to Josephine (Busch) Poole and Forester Poole. He was united in marriage to Ruth Diane (Hurst) Poole on March 9, 1961, who has also passed. William was a devoted Father to Donna R. Poole-Castle(Jeffery) of Wellington, Ohio, Donald R. Poole (Louise) of Elyria. William was the proudest of being a grandfather to Becky (Zack) Vrabel, Michael (Michaela) Marinkchak, Joshua Coffman, Joshua M. Long, Alexis T. Brooks, Brett S. Grove and Brittany Aumuth. William was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings and his wife Ruth. Friends and family are invited to join the family for a memorial service that will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 2 P.M.
