On the morning of Tuesday June 15, 2021 our hearts were
deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father,
grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Mr. William Christopher Jackson
Jr. better known as “Man, Jack” departed this life at Bon Secours
Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg Va.  

William was one of nine children born to Mary and
William C. Jackson Sr. on October 17, 1954 in Petersburg, Va. He was educated
in the Petersburg City Public Schools. 

William found something exceptional when he learned
about the true God, Jehovah, and what the real purpose of life is. He dedicated
his life to serve Jehovah, in 1973 he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s
Witnesses. He served faithfully with the Central Park and later the Halifax
Congregations in Petersburg, Virginia, until his death. Despite his declining
health, his faith was solid and his hope was sure. He looked forward to better
times “THE REAL LIFE,” a time when there would be no more sickness and
death.  

William will be most remembered for his BIG personality and
his infectious smile, which could light up a room, his love for his family and
his many close friends. 

He was a hard worker and provider, Jack was truly a jack of
all trades but he was well known for his southern cooking. He loved people, he
loved to dance. He always knew what to say to make you laugh. He was just plain
ole down to earth. To know him was to love him. He will be dearly missed. 

William is preceded in death by his mother Mary E. Jackson,
and his 3 siblings, Joseph, Ronald, and Theodore Jackson. 

William leaves to cherish his precious memories, his dear
wife of 46 years, Williemae Jackson; his only son Quentin William
Jackson(Rasheda); two special granddaughters Sanii TaLeah and Alayah
Nicole Jackson; his father William C Jackson Sr.; three brothers Charles(Ann)
of Petersburg; Donald of Petersburg; Christopher (Caprice) of Dinwiddie; two
sisters Denise of Petersburg; Sharon (Jackson) Epps of Petersburg.
In laws which include Charles and Roberta Haynes of Queens, New
York; Ancenet Saunders of Wilmington, NC; Fard Fardan of Cairo, Egypt. 

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and
very close friends too numerous to name. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday
June 26, 2021 via Zoom
