William "Billy" Clark, 68, of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on January 25, 2017.Mr. Clark was born on December 12, 1948 in Merryville, LA to Richard Clark and Barbara Sharp Clark. Mr. Clark served two years in the U.S. Army and then worked in construction as a tradesman. He was a lifelong resident of DeRidder LA and a member of American Legion Post #27. He loved the great outdoors and all it had to offer with hunting and fishing.There were a few things that Mr. Clark was especially fond of, and those things were his Cat "Cry Baby", Eagles, and Elvis. The great love of his life was his beautiful family. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Clark and Barbara Sharp Clark Doyle; step father, Gilbert Doyle.Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, William Clark and Richard Clark and wife, Becky; one sister, Betty Clark; one grandson, Ritchey Clark; two nieces; four great nephews; two great nieces.Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5PM until 8PM at Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA. Services will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11AM in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA.
