WILLIAM FREDRICK EATON, 50 PEARL CITY - William Fredrick Eaton, 50 yrs. old, of Pearl City, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 in his home. He was born on Feb. 13, 1964 in Cedar Falls, IA the son of William and Lorna (Douglas) Eaton. He was a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He married Laura Bickel on Sept. 8, 1990 in Martelle, IA; He was employed at Honeywell as a manufacturing engineer. William was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pearl City, active in Boy Scouts, Village Trustee, Venturing Crew, and Pearl City Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife, Laura; son, Aaron; mother, Lorna; Douglas Eaton, brother, Michael (Kathy) Eaton; sister, Susan (Michael) Schlumbohm; In-laws, Clifford (Judy) Bickel; brothers-in-law, Stan Bickel, Randy (Deb) Bickel, Mike Bickel, nieces and nephews; cousins; friends. William is preceded by his father. Services will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Pearl City with the Rev. Brian LeBaron officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Pearl City. A memorial has been established in his memory.
