Greiner, William "Bill"William John Greiner, "Bill," Kaukauna, age 88, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was born on June 12, 1929, in the Town of Freedom, son of the late Carl and Frances (Leisch) Greiner. Bill married Ila Coffey on June 14, 1950. The two moved to Kaukauna where they owned and operated Modern Dairy. He was the "Milkman" and always was delivering with a smile. Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Bill was always busy; in his early years, he enjoyed camping and boating with his family. He and his wife, Ila, purchased a cottage on Lee Lake which soon became their home. The lake home created endless memories and happiness. Bill loved to spend his time fishing and hunting with his brothers and friends. Bill, Dad will be missed, even if you just crossed his path because he definitely had a story to share with everyone of you.William John is survived by his children: Donna (John) VanDeHey of Belvidere, IL, Bill Jr., Jack (Michelle) Greiner, Kim Marquardt, Kerri (Lonni) Jordan, all of Kaukauna; his grandchildren: Shana (Brett) Schwanebeck, Kara Supalla, Chad (Jennifer) Greiner, Kelly (Wes) Ralston, Amanda Heaton, Rachel, Melissa, and Desiree Greiner, Sam Schreiber, Nichole (Evan) Stark, Austin VanDenEng, Eric Marquardt (special friend, Olivia Fiala) Alexandra, Savannah, Miranda, Olivia, and Rilan Jordan; great-grandchildren: Isabella, Jaxson, and Makenah Schwanebeck, Richard and Robert Greiner, Maison Ralston, Madalyn and Gabryel Greiner; a brother, Ronald (Vonnie) Greiner, Robert (Vionne) Greiner, James (Sharon) Greiner; brother in-law: Don (Jane) Coffey; and a sister in-law: Shirley (Bob) Phillips. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.Preceding him in death were his wife, Ila, his parents, mother and father in-law, William and Martha Coffey, daughter Judy, son Richard, grandson Ross VanDeHey, brother Carl and Rosie Greiner, and sister Dorothy and Bill Gonnering. Friends may call at the church Saturday, October 28 at 11:00am until time of service at 1:30pm at St. Nicholas Church in Freedom with Father Walter Stumpf officiating, burial in the parish cemetery will be following the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Bill's name is being established. The family would like to send a special thank you to all who were kind and compassionate.
