William H. ProsserHeath: A funeral service for William H. Prosser will be held at 7pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st street, Newark, OH 43055. Family will greet friends from 4-7pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Bill, age 57, of Heath, passed away at his home after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, August 21, 2017. He was born on June 3, 1960 to the late Arthur J. and Ruth E. (Oelker) Prosser in Springfield, OH. Bill graduated from Kenton Ridge High School and Clark County JVS in 1978. He later married his wife, Lisa (Unzel) Prosser on September 30, 1994. Bill enjoyed attending Mopar and Gravelrama, and he loved his job. His sense of humor will be greatly missed, as will his ability to fix anything, his computer expertise, and his generosity. "He truly was our handyman." Bill is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; children, Alec J. Prosser and Jena K. Prosser; children from a previous marriage, Steve W. Prosser and Angela M. Willison; siblings, Susan M. Prosser, Sara J. (Steve) Martin, Esther A. (Paul) Komereck; in-laws, I'Lee and Richard Unzel; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by brothers, Mark S. Prosser, David A. Prosser, and James E. Prosser. The family would like to give special thanks to all of Bill's work friends at Cooper, Rolls-Royce, and Siemens Energy Services. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and you were all a part of that. The family would also like to extend special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio and close friends and family for all their support and compassion during this very difficult time.
