William "Bill" HoadleyJune 21, 1939 - December 1, 2014William "Bill" Raymond Hoadley, 75, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home.Bill was born on June 21, 1939 to Raymond and Florence Hoadley in Pocatello, ID. He was the 2nd of 6 children. He attended Pocatello schools graduating from Pocatello High School in 1957.Bill married Paulette Taylor in 1957, together they had 4 children; Jim, Tammy, Bob and Rick. They were later divorced. He married Ruth Bateman on January 22, 1972 in Pocatello and Ruth brought 2 daughters to the marriage; Renae, and Shawna. Ruth and Bill met while he was attending ISU. Bill graduated from ISU with a BA in Accounting. Upon graduation from ISU, he went to work for AMI, where he worked for many years.Bill was in the US National Guard, and Army Reserve. He received national recognition working for the March of Dimes. He was a member of the Pocatello Field Archery. Bill won many trophies in Archery.He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and hiking but his greatest love was his grandchildren. He loved attending their games and supporting them in whatever they did. He summited Mt. Borah and the Tetons at 62 years old.Bill was a member of the LDS church.He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Jim (Lawana) Hoadley, Pocatello, Renae (James) Miller, daughter, Ammon, Shawna (Paxton) Likeness, Pocatello, Bob Hoadley, Willow Creek, AK, Rick Hoadley, Anchorage, AK; Barbara Gray, Nampa, Dave (Viola) Haodley, Pocatello; sister-in-law, Libby Hoadley, CO; brother-in-law, Jim Wilson, Pocatello; numerous nieces and nephews; 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tammy, 2 brothers, James and Milton, and one sister, Dorothy.A viewing will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 5-6:30 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500. Funeral services will be Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10 AM at the LDS Mountain Park Ward Church, 4600 Victory Ave. Chubbuck, ID. 83202 with a viewing from 9-10 AM prior to the services.
