William J. BoehlerAGE: 73 • HazletWilliam J. Boehler Sr., 73, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 21, 2017. William was born on October 8, 1943 in Keansburg, where he spent his childhood. In 1956 during his early teenage years, William and his family settled in Hazlet. On October 15, 1966, he and his wife, Helen, were married and began their life together in Hazlet, where they also raised their family. In the late 1960's and early 70's William served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves. After serving his time in the Army, William worked for Key-Tech Laboratory in Keyport for many years and retired as their General Manager. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Boehler and his dear siblings, Alfred, Robert, and Tony Boehler, and Nancy Mazurczak . William is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Helen (Van Salisbury) Boehler, his loving sons, William J. Boehler Jr. and his wife, Jaime, of Manahawkin, Christopher W. Boehler and his wife, Becky, of West Virginia, and Craig W. Boehler and his wife, Kris, of Middletown, his cherished grandchildren, Colby, Patrick, Emily, Finn, Tessa, Carly and Luke, and many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Hwy/Rt 35 N, Hazlet. In respect of William's wishes, he was privately cremated. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, February 11th, 10:30 AM at Mary, Mother of God Church, Middletown.
