Frisbie, William J. "Bill"William J. Frisbie, age 81, Hortonville passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, due to a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was born on April 24, 1936, in Black Creek, son of the late Roy and Francis (Barrett) Frisbie. He was raised and grew up in the Black Creek area and graduated from Seymour High School. He served his country in the
US Navy during the Korean Conflict; where he started his career in aviation. This lead to him playing a key role in the development of KC Aviation; where he ultimately retired. On July 17, 1965, Bill married the love of his life Connie Pautz at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, boating and yard work. His passion was woodworking, he made many things including canoes and furniture; nearly every family and friend has a piece that Bill has made.He is survived by his wife Connie; daughters:Traci (Jeff) Martens; Amy Kaighin (fiance' Jeremy Humecki); daughter in-law, Michelle Frisbie; granddaughters: Rachel (Jordan) Honzik, Sarah Martens, and Leanna Frisbie; and a sister Marie Huhn. Bill is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many great friends, especially Mary Lou Murphy.He was preceded in death by his parents, son Todd Frisbie, brother John Frisbie, and a sister Jackie Debaker.The family would like to thank the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton and the Hortonville EMT's for all their care and concern shown to Bill and Connie.Funeral Mass for Bill will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken and Parish Director Greg Layton officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery."May you find peace in heaven with Todd where the fishing is always good and the waters are always calm. Though you will not be here with your girls we know you will be by our side guiding us as you always have. We love you always."In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
