William J. LandesWilliam "Bill" Jay Landes, 53, of Lafayette, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Lafayette.He was born on September 18, 1963 in Lafayette to the late Donald L. Landes.Bill worked for several years until 2013 for Greenbush Industries in janitorial services at the Lafayette Caterpillar plant.He enjoyed doing research on the computer and wood working.Surviving are his sister, Tracy L. (Miguel S. Martinez) Landes of Lafayette; his half brother, Corey E. Bee of Indianapolis; his half sister, Constance I. Bravo; and his aunt, Betty J. (Perry) Skiles of Mulberry. Also surviving are his nephew, Paul Godina; his niece, Kayla M. Godina; and great nieces, Izabella M. Godina and Catalina E. Alamo.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Milton J. and Cleopha M. Landes.Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
