CAZENOVIA - William J. Seep, age 75, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 24, 2012. He was born on July 3, 1936 in the town of Westford the son of Joseph and Agnes (Rego) Seep. Bill graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1954. Prior to his enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1958 he was employed by Kraemer & Sons as an operating engineer. Bill very proudly served in the U.S. Army for 4 ½ years in Fort Hood, TX during the Berlin Crisis. He was married on November 7, 1959 to the former Almira A. Foreman. After serving his country Bill and his family moved to Kenosha, WI where he was employed by AMC/Chrysler for the next 30 years. During his years in Kenosha Bill attended the University Wisconsin Parkside where he pursued Real Estate Management. After retiring Bill and his family returned to his home community of Cazenovia, WI where he continued to enjoy his love of farming and family. He was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post #491 in Cazenovia. Bill proudly served on the Richland County Board of Supervisors for over 18 years where he participated in leadership roles on numerous committees. He was a great fan of the Caz Red and supporter of the Turkey Boosters until the time of his death. Bill had 4 great loves in his life, family, farming, public service and dogs. Survivors include 4 children, Robert (Dawn) Seep, Dennis (Diane) Seep, Kelly (Frank) Tomczak and Jeannie (Roger) Bennett all of Cazenovia, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 7 siblings, Bernadine Mueller of Richland Center, Lawrence (Pat) Seep of Cazenovia, Mary Lou (Philip) Kinsman of LaValle, Francis "John" (Barbara) Seep of Cazenovia, Donald (Sue) Seep of Cazenovia, Rita DeValle of Lake Delton, Joe (Bernice) Seep of Reedsburg, 53 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, 2 brothers-in-law, Ronald Foreman of Janesville and Wilmer Foreman of Colorado and his best friend, Jake Dog Seep. He was preceded in death by his wife, Almira A. Seep, his parents, Joseph and Agnes Seep, a brother, Phillip Seep, a sister, Eugenia A. Seep. A Mass in memory of Bill will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle. Fr. Larry Bowens will officiate with burial in the St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Cazenovia American Legion Post #491. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.
