Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
William Wester, 7, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, passed on April 02, 2023. William was born on September 17, 2015 as a twin to Wesley Wester. These are just a few things the family shared with me as we met this week. One of William's favorite songs was "Baby Shark." You know the song, baby shark, do, do, do, do, do baby shark. I used to like that song as well until I became a grandfather. Then I became the shark who had no teeth. William loved to watch scary movies with his grandpa Jay, and they traveled the world together through videos on T.V. William would snarl if he didn't like you and grit his teeth whenever he was happy, which was most of the time, to the point he almost wore his teeth down. He loved to listen to soothing music like the sound of the ocean or rain, sleeping songs would always calm him. When is pain or anxious the family would toss him up in the air as a baby, or place him in his favorite swing. He loved to have his back rubbed as we all do, oh but don't you dare touch his feet because he hated to have anyone mess with his feet. He was known as the X-Ray baby of LeBonheur Hospital; you can just type in X-Ray baby on the internet and there you will see him. William suffered all his life in and out of hospitals, poked and prodded like a pin cushion. He was stronger than a pine knot taking it all in a stride, an amazing fighter and despite all that he brought so much love to his family and friends around him. William will be forever missed and we will always carry him deep in our hearts.
You can to the family or in memory of William Wester.
