William L. "Snodie" SnodeZANESVILLE: William L. "Snodie" Snode, 69, of Zanesville died at 11:35:00 AM Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Genesis Medical Center ER following a sudden illness.He was born on November 9, 1945 in Zanesville, OH the son of Leonard and Leola F. Butler Snode.Bill was an Army Veteran and retired in 2004 after 16 years from Burnham Boiler. He was an avid Cleveland Browns & Ohio State Buckeye fan. Snodie was a longtime volunteer at Christ's Table and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Bill gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.He is survived by his wife, Becky (Longstreth) Snode of the home; sons, William J. Snode of Hilliard and Brad A. (Toshia) Snode of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Slade, Madison, Jayden and Jayce; a sister, Jane (Bud Dobbins) Eppley of Zanesville. Bill was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his half-brother, Dale McCoid.Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 18, 2014 with Dr. Dennis Baker officiating. Burial with Military honors will conclude at the Greenwood Cemetery.Memorial contributions can be made to Christ's Table.
