EHRLE, WillWilliam Lawrence Ehrle, Jr., 59, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. A cancer survivor, he bravely battled many medical complications for over 20 years. Will was born on January 13, 1958 in Splendora, Texas. He attended The
University of Texas and served in the United States Air Force. Will worked with his father as a lobbyist with the Texas Manufactured Housing Association. He was a proud member of the "Bullock Raiders" when employed with the Texas Comptroller's Office. He was preceded in death by his father William Lawrence Ehrle, Sr., a former 3-term member of the Texas Legislature; mother Sandra Luckey Ehrle; sister Sharon Richardson; parents-in-law Olivia L. Leal and Eugenio "Tito" Leal; and nephew Joey Gabriel Zuniga. He is survived by his wife Gloria Leal Ehrle; sister Rhonda Kay Morris; nieces Heather Richardson, Kristin and Courtney Morris; brothers and sisters-in-law: Pablo Leal (Nelda), Daniel Leal, Sandra Leal (Luis De La Rosa, Jr.), Mary Alice Aguirre (Guadalupe), Sylvia Dickins (Dan), Eugene Leal, Jr. and David Leal; nieces and nephews: Michael, Joseph and Anika Aguirre, Erica and Danny Leal, Jr., Nicolas and Olivia Zuniga, Damasio, Paulette and Natalie Leal, and Sabrina, Nicole and D.J. Leal; and several grand nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 6-8pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on North Lamar. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10am. A graveside service will take place in Weslaco, TX on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
