William H. LentzYORKWilliam H. Lentz, 85, of W. Manchester Twp., died Friday, April 15, 2016, at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Norma J. (Smyser) Lentz. They were married for 64 years.Bill was born on April 20, 1930, in York, son of the late Arthur R. and Mary (Gladfelter) Lentz.He had worked for Hershey Bread, Penn Dairies, and retired from Duplex. He was a 1948 graduate of William Penn high School.He was a member of St. Paul's Wolf's Church. He was a life member of the York Volunteer Fireman's Relief Association, Member of the Royal Fire Company, BD Club, Viking A.A., York County Firefighters Association, Fireman's Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania State Firemen's Association, Chicken Headers, and Mall Walkers. He loved his cabin in the mountains, where lots of lasting memories were made.The viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at St. Paul's Wolf's Church, 4501 Wolf's Church Road, York. The funeral service will begin at noon with the Rev. Phil Hakanson officiating. Burial will be private in Wolf's Church Cemetery.In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by two daughters, Christine A. Becker, wife of Kevin R., and Carla J. Stough, companion of William Swartz, all of York; five grandchildren, Amy Pearson, Jessica Okronley, Todd Elicker, Jacob Stough, and Ashley Stough; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Wolf's Church, 4501 Wolf's Church Road, York, PA 17408.Arrangements entrusted to the John W.
