William Morton ShraderClarksville, TNWilliam Morton Shrader, 90, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.Morton was born on March 24, 1926, in Lafayette, KY to the late Raymond Hill Shrader and Constance LaRue Clardy Shrader. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marie M. Shrader.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.Morton graduated from South Western University, with an Engineering Degree. He retired with 30 years from the U.S. Civil Services, which includes being an Appraiser with the IRS. Prior employment includes Gulf Oil Corporation in Houston, TX; owning his own construction company, Trendmark, Inc.; and was joint owner of Pioneer Personnel Service with his wife, Marie. He was a member of Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.Morton is survived by four daughters, Darlynne (Andy) Jordan of Franklin, TN, Pam (Larry) Wilson of Apollo Beach, FL, Lisa Shrader Carr of Clarksville, TN, and Leigh Ann (Walt) Redding of Nashville, TN; brother, Charlie (Shirley) Shrader of Brentwood, TN; six grandchildren, Justin Jordan, Lindsey Jordan, Ashlee Cole, Jarrett Jordan, Cara Carr, and Larry Wilson, Jr.; great-grandson, Ethan Lynch; and special friend, Carol Ogg.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the , 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203 or the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, 2650 Trenton Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.Arrangements entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
