William Gomez was born July 15, 1935 to Anne Harris and Carlos Gomez in Jacksonville, FL. He attended and graudated from Nathan B. Forrest high school. William dedicated his life to Jehovah through water baptism on March 13, 1986. He loved the truth and enjoyed talking about Jehovah's kingdom with others. William was employed by the Florida Times Union, where he retired. William loved his children and tried to do the best he could for them. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Harris and father, Carlos Gomez. William survived by his wife, Jackie Gomez, sons, Oscar Gomez and Jesus Gomez (Patricia Gomez), three grandchildren, Jade Hall, Stephanie Jackson (Christopher Jackson), Shawn Gomez, great grandchildren, Tyson and Aiden Jackson, numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
