Funeral Services for William Quinlin Pleasant Jaquess, 65, of Converse, Texas formerly of Clovis, New Mexico will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Doris Jaquess officiating, burial will follow in Portales Cemetery.William was born on June 1, 1951, to Kenneth Pleasant and Ethel Doris (Stelzig) Jaquess in Clovis, New Mexico. He married Diane Leora Rodgers on December 31, 1979, in Clovis, New Mexico. William died on December 3, 2016, at his residence in Converse, Texas. William and his family lived in Converse, Texas for over 20 years. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by Placid Manufacturing in mobile home construction for 5 years. Throughout the years Williams was employed by numerous contractors.He is survived by his wife of 37 years Diane; one son, Darrell Jaquess of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter Sue (Fitzgerald) Reynoso of Converse, Texas; one brother, Gene Jaquess of Portales, New Mexico; one sister Doris Jaquess of Mountainaire, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Laci Warrlock of Dallas, Texas; one grandson, Cody Swaim of Abilene, Texas; one great grandson Dalton Lee Swaim of Abilene, Texas; and numberous nieces and nephews.William was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters Teresa (Jaquess) Swaim and Pam (Cox) Warrlock.Arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary of Portales. 575-356-4455, wheelermortuary.net
