William "Bill" Rodger DavisZANESVILLE: William "Bill" Rodger Davis, 84 of Zanesville died at 4:27pm Tuesday, July 02, 2013 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.He was born on July 29, 1928 in Muskingum County the son of the late Homer Davis and Ella Scurlock Davis.Bill was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and retired from Burnham after 43 years. He enjoyed camping and stock car racing with Dale Earnhardt as his favorite driver. Bill also loved going to Colony Square Mall and visiting with his Mall buddies.He is survived by his wife of 65 years Nora Mae (Stotts) Davis of the home; three children, Martha Jane (Bud) Miller, Paul Edward Davis and Rodger Joe (Susan A.) Davis: grandson Bradley (Tami) Miller; and great- granddaughter, Rylei Miller; brother and sisters in laws, Wayne (Nancy) Stotts, Danny Stotts, Corinna Holman, Josaphine (Charlie) Barner and Joy Gortner; and several cousins. Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Friday July 5, 2013 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Steve Dupler officiating.Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care 713 Forest Ave Zanesville, OH 43701.The Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
