William E. RudisillYorkWilliam E. Rudisill, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at his home. He was the husband of Elizabeth D. Rudisill and the late Betty Mae (Witmer) Rudisill, who passed away on Feb. 1, 1984.William was born on January 13, 1927, and was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Minnich) Rudisill. During his working life he was employed at Bowen McLaughlin, Met-Ed, F & S Transportation, and was retired from American Chain and Cable. He was a WWII Veteran, having served with the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne.William is survived by his son, Barry and wife Ann of Mt. Wolf; his daughter, Brenda Billet and husband Gary of Hellam; a stepdaughter, Victoria of York; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Eli. He was preceded in death by his brothers, sisters and triplet grandsons.Services and burial will be private.
