CAMBRIDGE - William Sherron Ennals was called home on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at University of Maryland Shore Regional at Dorchester. William was born on June 4, 1947 in Cambridge. He was the son of the late Nicie Ross and William James Ennals. William was the great nephew of Harriett Ross Tubman. William graduated from Maces Lane High School, Cambridge, in 1965. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his class when he could and attended his 50th Class Reunion in August 2015. William worked for Coldwater Seafood Company for a while and for C & K Lord Sheet Metal and Welding for 50 years! During the early years, William attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church with his family. As a young adult he attended St. Luke U.M. Church under the guidance of Rev. Harvey Chase. He also grew in faith at Soul Outreach Christian Center. These early experiences cultivated his love for music and singing the songs of Zion. William sang with the Gospel Revelators of Cambridge, the Sons of Christ in Salisbury and the Gospel Deliverers of Cambridge. His final years were spent serving God at True Gospel Tabernacle of Praise where Pastor Mary Ennals served as his wife and spiritual leader and Rev. Charles Pinkett as co-pastor. He loved hunting, fishing and playing pool and was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his mom, Nicie Ennals; dad, William James Ennals; sister, Muriel Ennals; and his mother-in-law, Helen Molock. William is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Ennals, of Cambridge; one son, William Chester (Tinesha); two daughters, Juwana Molock and Cynthia Mitchell; three grandchildren, TaBron, Zion and Towanda (John); and one great-grandchild, Camryn; one aunt, Virginia Camper; one uncle, Elenzor Camper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He also leaves to mourn, his best friend and best man at his wedding, Danny Chester; and two special nieces, Missy Travers and Kesha Beasley. Services will be held on Sat., Oct. 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at New Revelations Baptist Church, 711 Bradley Ave., Cambridge, with a viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home PA Cambridge and one hour prior to service on Saturday at the church.
