William K. Spicer Sr.LANCASTER: William K. Spicer Sr., 78, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Pickering House with family by his side. Last Rites were given by Fr. Kessler of St. Bernadette. He was born on September 23, 1934 in Shawnee, Ohio to the late Frank E. and Maugerite Fuch Spicer. William served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Diamond Power as an engineer after 20 years of service. William did a lot of community service through WSPI T.V. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. William is survived by loving wife of 56 years Shirley Spicer; children Pam (Patrick) Sparks, William K. (Kathy) Spicer Jr., Teresa (Mick) Miller, Robert Spicer, James Spicer, Kathy (Brent) Dorminy and David (Shari) Spicer; grandchildren Alycia, Tonya, Kendell, William III, Ashley, Jesica, Amber, Brandi, Brittany, Tyler, Cameron, Christina, Heather, Dan and Sam; 4 great grandchildren; Brothers David, Jell and Chick Spicer. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister Katy Daugherty; brothers John and Frank Spicer. A Celebration of Life will be held at SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, December 21st. The family will receive friends and family from 6 PM until 7:30 PM at which time a Eulogy will be given by Rollin Burns, nephew of William and Shirley.
