William Thomas was born in Anderson, South Carolina June 30, 1944, to Edward Thomas and Bernice Timsley. 

 He was a Construction worker for the city of Cleveland division of Streets before getting injured.  He Matt Virginia Copley in 1984 and took on the responsibility of fathers it for her six children. He was a talented musician the blues was his Groove.

 He fought a long battle with cancer. After having several treatments the battle became difficult.His spirits were lifted by the visitation of his family and friends.

 William leaves to cherish six step children and nine grandchildren. With a host of nephews nieces cousins and friends. 
 
William is now home with the Lord And his battle with cancer is finally over.
