William Akins, a beloved member of the Indianapolis community, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 79. He probably served in the army, following a 29 year career Telecommuteicans technician. He Volunteer for Fishers fire department. And was a memberOf Indiana’s air search and fire rescue.. He volunteered with Indianapolis ham fest for 50 yearsI am with American red cross. He is survived by his wife Linda Atkins two sons David and Jon Brandy, and a daughter he hardly got to know.. Bunch of grandkids that He loved very much.

He was preceded in death by both his parents

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the funeral home, with Pastor Nancy Lafferty officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
