William W. Steffen LINCOLN, MO -William W. Steffen, 79, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 1, 1932, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the son of William and Myrtle (Mooney) Steffen. He grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and attended school there. On January 20, 1951 he was united in marriage to his wife Geraldine. They continued to make their home in Racine, where Bill was employed by Johnson’s Wax as a Chemical Plant Operator and later in Aviation Maintenance. He retired in 1984 and moved to Lincoln, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Steffen, three sons; Bill Steffen, and his wife Nancy, of Humble, Texas, Tom Steffen, and his wife Ha, of Houston, Texas and Dave Steffen and his wife Denise, of Houstonia, Missouri, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, three sisters; Betty Buscemi, and her husband Joe, of Racine, Wisconsin, Myrtle May Fleuter, of Racine, Wisconsin and Bonnie Jean Rundell, of Chicago, Illinois. Funeral Services for William W. Steffen were held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Zion Lutheran Church, in Lincoln, Missouri. Interment was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, in Lincoln.
