It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Willie Mitchell, who was born on August 7, 1959, in Ft. Pierce, Florida, United States. He peacefully departed this world on July 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Willie was the beloved son of Benjamin A. Mitchell Jr and Doshie L. Mitchell. He was the devoted husband of Diane Smith, whom he married in the year 15. Together, they were blessed with two children, Willie Mitchell and James Smith. Willie was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Willie attended Fort Pierce Westwood High School and was a dedicated student. He had a passion for football and fishing, spending many weekends on the water with friends and family.

Willie's life was tragically cut short , but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family.
