WILLIE ROY WILSON, BORN ON NOVEMBER 23, 1950 TO HIS PROUD PARENTS: EARSLEY WILSON AND ONETTA KELLY DODD IN BRANDON MS. WILLIE MADE HIS TRANSITION TO HIS HEAVENLY HOME ON DECEMBER 26, 2019 BY PASSAGE WAY OF HIS HOME.
WILLIE RECIEVED CHRIST AT AN EARLY AGE AND WAS BAPTIZED AT SANDHILL M.B. CHURCH IN BRANDON, MS, WHERE HE ALSO ATTENDED CARTER HIGH SCHOOL. HE LATER RELOCATED TO CHICAGO, IL WHERE HE GRADUATED FROM MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL. IN 1969 WILLIE ENLISTED INTO THE U.S. ARMY WHERE HE SERVED HIS COUNTRY PROUDLY.
ROY UNITED WITH HIS FIRST LOVE DELILAH HILL. THEY MET IN 1966 AND LATER REUNITED IN 1989 TO SPEND THE NEXT 30 YEAR YEARS TOGETHER.
ROY WAS PROCEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FATHER (EARSLEY WILSON) AND SON (WILLE R. WILSON, JR)
ROY LEAVES TO CHERISH: HIS LOVING MOTHER, ONETTA DODD, MS; THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, DELILAH HILL, OLYMPIA FIELDS, IL STEP-CHILDREN, YOLANDA DIXON, DYER INDIANA: AND PATRICK HILL, OAK LAWN IL: (MELISSA HILL) GOD DAUGHTER DELILAH WILSON, HAMMOND INDIANA: TWO SISTERS, BONNIE NELSON OF WINTER AND GLENDA FINCH OF BRANDON MS.
