April 20, 1928 - October 28, 2016The family of, Willie Webster "Webb" Strong, sadly announce his passing into eternal life on Friday, October 28, 2016.He was born on April 20, 1928 on a farm in Chalk Hill, Texas to parents W.C. and Susie Strong, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Marlon and JC, his beloved wife, Peggy Lucille Strong and numerous in laws and outlaws. He is a graduate of Tatum High School in 1947. W.W. was a surveyor all his life, retiring from Valero.He is survived by his sons Steven K. (Deborah) of Converse and Jimmy Scott (Ada) of San Antonio. W.W. is also survived by his grandchildren Samantha Strong of Converse, Amy Fritz (Shane) of New Braunfels, Kevin Strong of Converse and Nathan Strong of Converse. Also surviving is his great granddaughter Analia Strong. Webb is also survived by his sister Patsy Thornton of Longview and sisters in law, Anna Kirkpatrick of Carthage, Darlene Kirkpatrick of Tyler and Cathy Strong of Bryan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.He is also survived by his companion Margaret Johnson and her family.Besides his family, Webb enjoyed traveling and playing poker, He never met a stranger. The family would like to thank, Heart to Heart Hospice, as well as Rosewood Rehabilitation for their care of Webb during his last months.A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 02, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas.A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, November 03, 2016 after a 3:00 p.m. Chapel Service with Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.Expressions of sympathycan be made at www. sunsetfuneralhomesa.com
