AUBURN — Wilma L. Pfierman, age 91, of Auburn passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at DeKalb Health in Auburn. Mrs. Pfierman was born on December 10, 1924 in Wolcottville to William and Louise "Loie" (Strawser) Krebs. She married Wilbur J. Pfierman on June 25, 1949 at the Simpson United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2008. Mrs. Pfierman worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne for 42 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Auburn First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the G.E. Elex Club and the Rebekka Odd Fellows. She loved working on the farm and gardening. She also liked to bowl and enjoyed staying active. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Penny Pfierman of Auburn; 11 nieces and three nephews; a grandson, Causta Lewis of Auburn; and a great-granddaughter, Hunter Marie Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Marguerite Cain and Florence Krebs; three brothers, Elwood Krebs, Otis Krebs and Raymond Krebs; and two nieces. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Feller and Clark Funeral home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Pastor Allison Yankey with the Auburn First United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn. Memorials may be directed to Auburn First United Methodist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.fellerandclark.com.
