Brewer, WinifredWinifred Linda "Winnie" Brewer, age 85, beloved wife and mother left her earthly existence at Bethel Home on November 19, 2016. She was born on February 23, 1931 in Oshkosh where she lived her entire life. Winnie was the youngest of eleven children born to the late Alfred and Frieda (Juedes) Radig.Winnie married Eugene Lloyd Brewer on September 6, 1952 at Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She enjoyed traveling, attending the theater and movies, working in the yard, gardening, spending time with family and friends and watching Packers, Badgers and Brewers games. She especially enjoyed spending time with her special "club" friends. Surviving club members include Marilyn Sherron, Marilyn Cornell, Nancy Hartman, Darlene Wetterau and Claire Zentner. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.She is survived by her devoted husband, brother Donald Radig, sister in-law Patricia Radig, children Barry (Karen), Jack (Terry) and Paul (special friend Kelly), granddaughters Trisha (special friend Micah) Hardy, Lennon (fiancé Michael) Brewer, McCartney Brewer, Alexa (Thomas) Betterbed and Olivia Brewer along with many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and six sisters.Friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W. Ninth Avenue, Oshkosh from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the funeral service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.The family wishes to thank the staff of Bethel Home, Mercy Medical Center and Generations Hospice for their exemplary care and compassion.
