Wm. David Book, 54, of Montrose, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, N.Y. His wife of 26 years, Linda Book, survives.He was born on November 14, 1960, in Endicott, N.Y., to the late William L. and Charlene P. (Thomas) Book. Also surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, LuAnne and Mitch Ferrill, Little Meadows; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. David graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1986 with his Masters. He was a member of the Community Independent Bible Church, Little Meadows, former member of Optimist Club, Endicott, N.Y., and owner and CEO of the Chestnut Rehabilitation Services, LLC. He loved nature and enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising his cattle. He loved being with his dogs and riding his Suzuki Trike motorcycle that he traveled around the countryside on. He truly loved being outdoors. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Community Independent Bible Church, 879 Maple Street, Little Meadows, PA 18830, with Pastor Dale Anschuetz officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
