KIMMELL — Woodward E. Weade, 83, of Kimmell, passed away on September 18, 2014, in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on April 14, 1931, in Kimmell, IN to Hobart M. and Celia M. (Knapp) Weade. He married Luella Butler on October 2, 1953, in Kimmell, IN. Mr. Weade is survived by his wife, Luella, of Kimmell, a son, Dale Weade, of Kimmell and a daughter, Teresa Weade, of Ligonier. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Sidney Weade. He was preceded in death by a son, Rex Weade, and a brother and two sisters. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was employed with Johnson Controls in Goshen, IN for 38 years. He was a grain and hog farmer in Noble County. He was a member of various antique tractor pulling clubs in the area. A funeral service in his honor will be at 11 a.m. on Friday September 26, 2014, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Burial will be at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the .
