"A Time to be Born"

Yvette Michelle Toomer, 69, of Sanford, Florida, was born on March 28, 1954 the ninth child of the late Josephine and Gregory Toomer.

"A Time to Embrace"

Yvette's Christian training began at a early age under the guides of her parents. She became a member of the New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Sanford, Florida. For the last 25 plus years, Yvette was a dedicated member of Central Baptist Institutional Church, Jacksonville, Florida.

"A Time to Learn"

Yvette attended the public school system of Seminole County, Florida. After graduation from Crooms High School, she attended Florida A&M University. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.

"A Time to Serve"

In life, Yvette loved her family dearly and her family, extensive as it became, they loved her dearly. For over 34 years, Yvette was a dedicated and well loved employee at University and Bruster Hospitals in Duval County.

"A Time to Die"

On the 26th day of March, 2023 at 10:26 P.M. her work was done, she was tired and Our Father called her home.

Her loving and devoted husband of 43 years Larry Dre Toomer, Sr; daughter, Akeishalon Toomer; sister's, Irene King, Rose Shep, & Floe Burrs; brother, Kenny Shep; 5 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
