Yvonne Persaud, 83, of Georgetown, Demerara-Mahaica, passed Saturday, May 19, 2018. Yvonne was born to David Copain, and Mary Copain, March 06, 1935 in Georgetown, Demerara-Mahaica.

Yvonne graduated from Rains High School in 1958 and received a degree from Florida State University in 1970. She married Harold Persaud in 1970, and they lived together in Georgetown. Yvonne worked at Registered Nurse until she retired in 1995.

Yvonne is survived by 3 children: Donna Persaud (Pammy Persaud), Debbie Persaud, and . She also is survived by 10 grandchildren.
