It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Zaryan Scrutchen, who met his untimely demise on June 12, 2024 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was born on March 7, 2005 to his loving parents, Andre Scrutchen and Jaquaila Dothard.

Zaryan had a zest for life and a passion for sports, excelling in football and basketball during his time at Urban Scholar High School where he graduated in 2024. He had a quick wit and a contagious smile that could light up any room.

Although he had no children of his own, Zaryan was a beloved brother, cousin, and friend to many. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Unfortunately, Zaryan's life was cut short due to a tragic gun shot incident. While we mourn his loss, let us also remember the good times and the laughter he brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, Zaryan. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
