We are saddened to announce the passing of Angela "Angie" Simmons, who departed this life on April 1st, 2024. Angela was born on February 16th, 1957, a cherished daughter to her predeceased parents, Joe Simmons and Cora (Warren) Caster.

Angela who was also known affectionately as "Angie" to her friends and family, left a lasting imprint on everyone she encountered in her lifetime and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Angela is survived by her daughter Jolene (Alice) Booher-Kirchhofer and her son Jerry (Anne) Booher, who will forever cherish her memory. She was also blessed with 4 Bonus Children Lakeisha Bodiford, Navillus Hamilton, Richard Sheldon, Jerard McMillon. She was blessed by her several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and, siblings, Kellie Harrell, Robin Simmons, Joe Simmons, Jimmy Wright, Hilda Simmons and Catherine Mason, who survive her.

Unfortunately, she was predeceased by her loving partner, Melvin "Tip" Moore, and their beloved daughter, Willette "Willie Dee" Simmons, her sister, Julie Wright, nephew Punchy and several brother in laws. 

In 1988, Angela was finally reunited with her Daughter Jolene and Son Jerry who left a profound impact on her life. Their memories and the moments they shared with Angela will forever remain cherished and celebrated.

Angela "Angie" Simmons' journey through life was marked by enduring bonds, loving relationships, and an unwavering resilience despite life's trials. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to live on through the lives of her loved ones and in the memory of those who knew her.

Those who wish to celebrate Angela's life are cordially invited to a celebration event that will be held on April 26th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Evans & Browne Funeral Home at 441 N Jefferson Ave. This gathering will allow everyone whose lives were touched by Angela to commemorate her extraordinary life journey.
