Charles J. Zack, age 69, of Oscoda died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at his home. He was born on Feb. 25, 1943 to the late Charles and Rita Zack (nee Gough). Charles worked as a pattern maker in the automotive industry for more than 30 years. He moved permanently to Oscoda from Sterling Heights in 2005. Charles was a member of the Knight of Columbus and the Iosco County Sportsman Club. He was very skilled with his hands and able to create or fix anything. Charles also enjoyed to fish, hunt, golf, travel and especially spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, whom he married on Feb. 26, 1988 in Sterling Heights. He is also survived by seven children. Robert (Lisa) Zack of Williston, N.D., Charles Zack Jr. of Rochester, Theresa (Mark) Dies of Sterling Heights, Vincent Zack of Fort Gratiot, Billy Milligan of Washington, Kevin (Anita) Milligan of Rover, Ark. and Stephen (Jennifer) Smith of Sterling Heights. Charles is also survived by two sisters, Victoria Calvaruso and Rita Hasslasker; two brothers, Gary Zack and Paul Zack; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Bartilucci. Private arrangements are by Buresh Funeral Homes, Inc. of Oscoda.
