Charles Leroy Ulman, age 69, of Tawas City died at the home of his sister's on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Lamar, Ind. Chuck was born on Oct. 30, 1945 in Omer. He graduated from Tawas Area High School in 1964. Chuck was a car salesman and in management for several different dealers and retired in 2013. Chuck was a member of the American Legion in Sterling Heights. He loved to golf. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but mostly his grandchildren. Chuck proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Chuck is survived by his beloved children, Tammy (Maurizio) Marini and Scott Ulman (Debra Mann); his loving siblings, Janice (Perry) Frey, Donald (Sharlete) Ulman and Debra Swartz; his grandchildren, Lacey Light, Anna Marini and Luigi Marini; and his nieces and nephews, Aaron, Bethey, Jason and Heather. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Eddie. Cremation has taken place and a burial will be held with military honors on Sunday, June 28 at 1 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Tawas City.
