Chris Hunt - brother, son, uncle and friend lost his battle to Colorectal Cancer on his 55th birthday, Thursday, May 30th 2019. A kind man full of passion for the simple things in life fought until the very end. Chris passed peacefully while in wonderful care at Canterbury on the Lake in Waterford, Michigan. Chris attended Berkley High School and was a hard working employee for Pickles & Rye (formally Deli Unique, first in Oak Park) for 30+ years. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing drums, skateboarding and roller blading, and spending time with friends. As of late, Chris loved to fish, spend time with his family and work loyally and hard at his job. He has always been an avid dog lover and leaves behind his best buddy, Bandit. 

Chris is survived by his mother, Denise Hunt; brother, Craig (Terry) Hunt; sister, Shannon Shanebrook; his neices, Cassie Ball, Hanah Shanebrook and Trish (Erik) Stoutzenberger; great nephew, Jaizek Ball and great neice, Riley Stoutzenberger.
