Christine Mooney, 84, of Armada, Michigan, passed on July 06, 2023. Christine was born on May 6, 1939 to parents Stanley Falkowski and Antoinette (Cendrowski) Falkowski in Hamtramck Michigan. Christine married the love of her life, Martin Louis Mooney on January 4 1958 at Holy Name Catholic Church Detroit Michigan.

Christine is preceded in death by daughter Bernadine, parents Stanley and Antoinette, husband Martin and brother Jerome Falkowski.

As a devoted Catholic her entire life, Christine volunteered repeatedly for the Capuchin soup kitchen and their many gardens. She was befriended by many wonderful people through her church and actively participated in a prayer chain for those in dire need. Together with these same people they prayed the rosary weekly.

Always an avid gardener, she was known for her many spectacular flower gardens.

Christine was very proud of her career at General Motors in Human Resources.

As a 4-H Equestrian leader, she loved her horses and her many dogs.

Christine is survived by daughters Terese Maire (Thomas) Cook, Andrea S (Jason) Perry and Mary Christine (Karl) Grettenberger. Adored Grandmother to Alex (Shannon), Rachel, Nathaniel, Ian, Emma and Madelyne. Dear sister to sister Barbara (Dan) Shrock, brother, the late Jerome (Regina) Falkowski, Kenneth Falkowski, and sister Bernadette (the late Thomas) Farrell. She loved all of her many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held Aug 19, 2023 at St Kierans Catholic Church 53600 Mound Rd Shelby Twp Michigan 48316.
