Our beloved Constance:
was born Constance Marie Fisher was born July 20, 1947, to Eugene Fisher Sr. and Elsie Dodson Fisher. She married Sherman Walker Jr. in 1963, and together they had two children, Tony A. Walker and Chyrice E. Walker.
Constance had a heart of gold and was a true friend in indeed and whenever in need. Constance had no problem telling you or anyone like it is. She didn’t mind putting you in check.
Constance Marie Fisher Walker, was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She passed away suddenly on March 16, 2025, in Muskegon Michigan.
Constance was proceeding in death by her parents Eugene Fisher Sr. Elsie Dodson Fisher, her son Tony A. Walker, Aunt Priscilla Morgan, grandmother Carlean Dodson her brother Eugene Fisher Jr., Caesar Fisher and sister Betty Walker.
Constance will be loved and missed by all who was lucky enough to have met her. She leaves to cherish her memories and is survived by one daughter Chyrice E. Walker Phillips who was a dedicated loving daughter whom she loved with all her heart. Constance was not only a great mother, friend dedicated and there is no words to explain what they meant to one another. She also leaves cherished memories her 4 sisters Nimat A. Rashid of Atlanta Georgia, Trina R. Fisher Newborn Columbia South Carolina, Kimberly M. Fisher Norton Shores Muskegon, and Chandra J. Blakely of Grand Rapids Michigan. Constance had 12 grandchildren children recognizing one grandchild in particular Alonda Ayesha Marie Opuegen as she was of great assistance with helping her granny throughout her struggles, 18 great grandchildren and one very special cousin Frank (Val) Wilkerson.
Constance was also a traveler throughout her life. She lived in Los Angeles, California during her younger years, due to a tragic accident of a beloved family member she had to return to Michigan taking resident in Detroit, briefly in Kalamazoo, and finally settling back to her hometown Muskegon Heights, Michigan..
Constance was a graduate of Muskegon Heights Public Schools completing her education in 1964. She went on to pursue a career as a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Cosmetologist, and an instructor. She eventually retired in 2015. to care for her Aunt Priscilla. Throughout her working years, she dedicated her time and efforts to helping others in Nursing Homes organizations.
Outside of her professional life, Constance had a variety of hobbies, including volunteering at Nursing Homes, sewing, and cosmetology.
