They were wonderful lifelong partners who set an example of what a great marriage can be.Coreen enjoyed traveling, was talented in the art of crochet and was great at solving puzzles. She enjoyed the challenge of reassembling the antique clocks that Max repaired. She was truly and happily a partner and help-mate to her husband. As a mother and grandmother, she was strong and funny, kind and loving, and generous with her time, joyfully spending countless hours with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a blessing to us all and the lasting impact she made on her family will live on with us until we meet again in Heaven. Graveside services will be held at East Lawn Memory Gardens in Okemos, Michigan on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Van Andel Research Institute, Dementia Research, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
