Dallas Frederick StadelLansingDallas Frederick Stadel, 77, of Lansing, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He was born on October 21, 1939 to Berwin Stadel and Madelene (Durkee) Goodemoot in Lake Odessa, MI. Dallas was a hard worker that was very proud of his family. His children will remember him as a good steward of the land and his desire to help those in need. His wisdom and witty ways will never leave the hearts he touched. Dallas is survived by; son Dennis (Annie) Stadel of Traverse City, MI; three daughters Dena (Kurt) Chase of Hastings, MI, Dawn (Joe) Hughs of Sugar Creek, MO, Sunnee (Mark) Freed of Boone, NC; step-daughter Shae Rivet of Minneapolis, MI; two step sons, Charles (Diva) Rudnick, Joseph (Lisa) Rudnick both of Mattawan, MI; 19 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; step-siblings Alan Goodemoot, Sharon (Ron) Brink, Jean Mulford and Von (Sharlene) Goodemoot; former wives Dixie Stadel-Manshum and Trudy Stadel, mother-in-law Phylis; brother's-in-law Pat (Jane) Glass and Michael Glass.Proceeding Dallas in death are; parents Berwin and Madelene; step-father Ford Goodemoot; wife Anne; sister, Shirley and Buck Yager; granddaughter Elsa Winter Freed; step-siblings Bob Mulford and Sharon Goodemoot. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm at Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, MI. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11am at Koops Funeral Chapel with a visitation from 10am until time of services. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa, MI. In lieu of flowers the family asks you "pay it forward" by helping someone you see in need.
