Dennis Linn Faler, age 65, of Lockport, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.He was born on January 7, 1951, in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Betty Pataky Faler. He and his wife had owned a game preserve on their farm in Lockport for eight years until they closed it in 2013. He had worked as a forklift operator and in the warehouse and assembly Line for the Philip Morris Company in Louisville for 23 years. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He was of the Catholic faith.He will be missed by his wife of 27 years, Judy Chilton Faler of Lockport; a son, Jonathan Faler of Ghent; two daughters, Julia Fogle of Richmond and Jennifer Faler of Lexington; two brothers, Paul (Donna) Faler of Leitchfield and Mike (Daphne) Faler of Orofino, Idaho; one sister, Rosie Layton of Sparta, Mo.; and six grandchildren.Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton. Burial was in the Franklinton Cemetery.
