Eileen Joyce (Stockwell) Waite of East Tawas, formerly of Grayling, passed away peacefully with her loving family be her side on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the Saginaw St. Mary's Hospital, age 72 years. Eileen was born on Aug. 27, 1942 in Lake City to Seth and Marvel (Whipple) Stockwell. After her high school graduation, she worked 16 years for Reptron Electronics and K-Byte as a machine operator. Those who knew and loved Eileen will always remember how she truly enjoyed fishing, camping and country music. Most importantly, Eileen loved her family and spending quality time together always brought enjoyment to her life. She was also a member of the Daughters of VFW. Eileen is survived by her four loving children, James (Kris) School, William (Charlotte) Fairbotham Jr., Mark (Penny) Fairbotham and Eric Waite; one sister, Wanda (Preston) Arnold; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and dear friends. Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Ray H. Waite; a daughter, Tamara D. School; two sisters, Carol Stockwell and Lois Kendall; and her parents, Seth Stockwell and Marvel Bracknell. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring. Her urn will be buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
