Elsie M. IrishSt. ClairElsie M. Irish, age 98, of St. Clair, passed away October 17, 2017. She was born on July 24, 1919 in Detroit to the late Alfonso and Freda Davis. She was married to Forrest "Bud" Irish for 60 years until his death on June 6, 2000. She was an avid hockey fan and loved the Tampa Bay Lightning except when they were playing the Red Wings. She is survived by her children; Nancy (Douglas) Mires, John (Cindy) Irish, and Mary (Al) Wamser. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jonathan Irish, Christopher Mires, Kelley (Mark) Parise, great-grandchildren; Sarah (James) Morton, Calvin Mires, and Grace Mires. She was preceded in death by her son; Forrest Irish, Jr. and brothers; William Davis and Buddy Davis. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21 at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St.Clair. Visiting will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to service. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
