Evelyn Louise Cook, 87, of Midland died on Oct. 1, 2013 at Midland Kings Daughters and Sons Home in Midland.Evelyn was born on Sept. 24, 1926 in Detroit to John and Mary (nee Elrod) Singleton. Evelyn married Robert G. Cook on June 20, 1946. He predeceased her on Jan. 26, 1996.Evelyn loved to golf, enjoyed line dancing and was an avid reader. She was member of the Oscoda Assembly of God Church.Evelyn is survived by daughter Susan (Mark) Willett; sons Steven Cook and James (Christine) Cook; and grandchildren Melissa Willett, Monica (Robert) Kaminski, Marianne (Dermot) O'Brien, Kyle Willett and Kendal and Morgan Cook.
