FISCHER, FRANCES “PAULINE” Age 73, of Midland passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016, after a brief illness at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn under the care of MidMichigan Hospice. Funeral Services for Pauline will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 17, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Greiner from the Eagle Ridge Church of God officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Eagle Ridge Church of God will be having a Celebration of Pauline’s life at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the MidMichigan Hospice, Eagle Ridge Church of God, Toni and Trish House, or an organization of your choosing. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel. Pauline was born on April 16, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Frank and Annabelle (Howay) Fischer. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School the class of 1961, received her nursing degree from Saginaw General School of Nursing in 1964, and her Master’s from Central Michigan University. She worked at Mid Michigan Medical Center, retiring in 2004. Pauline was a wonderful Christian lady who spent her life serving her Lord. She selflessly put others needs before her own. Her family, friends, and community could always count on her generosity and caring. Pauline attended the Eagle Ridge Church of God, where she was very active and loved her church family. She also kept in touch with her many close friends from high school, nursing school, and throughout her career. Pauline was an Auxiliary member of the
VFW Post #3033. Pauline is survived by her siblings, Carol (Jim) Ruthruff, Ralph Fischer, and Annatta Marshall; and sister-in-law, Suzanne Fischer.
