Frances Louise Campbell, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home at Tawas Village in East Tawas on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.Frances was born on Sept. 18, 1921 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada to Thomas Cleary and Regina May (Blonde) Sullivan. During World War II, Frances served in the Royal Canadian Air Force being stationed primarily in Rockland, Ontario, Canada. She worked for many years as a personnel manager for the Allstate Insurance, Co. in Cleveland, Ohio and she also worked over the course of several years in various secretarial positions with other companies. Frances truly enjoyed golfing, dancing and traveling. She was a member of both the Oscoda Yacht Club, the Lakewood Shores Beach Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28, Chatham, Ontario. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Frances is survived by many nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, Allan Seeburger of Oscoda. Frances is preceded in death by two husbands, Frank Forbes on March 6, 1980, and Golden Campbell on Sept. 16, 1994; one sister and three brothers. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced. Those wishing to make a memorial may do so to the in her honor.
